In a significant development, Ghana today presented humanitarian aid to the starving and distressed people of the State of Palestine who desperately need assistance.
President John Mahama donated 40 metric tonnes of the famous nutritious Made-in-Ghana chocolate and other deliciously healthy cocoa products from Ghana’s own Cocoa Processing Company.
President Mahama renewed Ghana’s demand for Israel to end the massacre, the unconditional release of hostages by Hamas, strict adherence to the two-state solution and a sincere commitment to ensure humanitarian aid reaches the Palestinian people.
Ghana’s foreign policy will be defined by not just what we can negotiate for ourselves but by what we can also share with others, particularly with those in dire need of our compassion and our good conscience.
